Antipaxos

Antipaxos island in the Ionian (Eptanisa) sailing area:

Antipaxos is a tiny and extremely beautiful island located about 1,5NM to the South of Paxos, Ionian. As the island is uninhabited for most of the year, the people who visit Antipaxos are usually daytrippers from Paxos & Corfu. Antipaxos is also a popular stop-off for yachts (both sailing and motor boats) which stay on anchor and enjoy the swimming in the clear waters of this island.

Largely covered in vineyards, the island has several very attractive beaches and one harbour, Agrapidia. The two most famous beaches are Vrika and Voutoumi but there are more beaches and coves less accessible to the crowds which tend to be quieter. You will find a beach taverna in both Vrika and Voutoumi with a good selection of local dishes. Make sure you buy some of the famous Antipaxos wine. You will not find it anywhere else!
