Skiathos charter base is situated at the North end of Skiathos’ main port being the prime starting point for sailing holidays around the Northern Sporades – Aegean Sea, since it is the only marina in the vicinity. Skiathos public marina is placed right in front of the main street of Skiathos town with lots of cafes, restaurants, supermarkets and other shops around.

How to reach in Skiathos yacht charter base:

Getting to Skiathos island is not as straightforward as you would think! The easiest way is certainly by charter flight directly from your country. There are many charter companies that fly to Skiathos during the summer season, as well as domestic flights from Athens. In case, you cannot find a suitable flight, you can also travel to Skiathos by ferry from either Volos or Ag. Konstantinos port.

Mooring places are available at the quay and the floating pier of the marina. Please, do not use anchors unless otherwise instructed.

Useful tips:

• The prevailing wind in Skiathos port/ yacht charter base is the Meltemi. It blows from N-NE at Force 2-5 Beaufort scale
• No particular hazards in the marina. Yachtsmen should only keep an eye on ferries and hydrofoils and make sure they stay on the anchor outside the landing path of the airport
